Spreading Warmth, Love, Peace, and Hope
The Students With Warmth (SWW) was established by a group of high school students who wanted to address the needs of the homeless, especially during the colder months. The main goal of the Students With Warmth is to prepare for winter seasons at homeless shelters and food banks. They assist with activities such as making and distributing blankets and scarves, serving food, and fundraising to contribute different items needed.
We are proud to share that during the COVID-19 Pandemic, the Students With Warmth shifted their focus to address the urgent needs of their community. Members volunteered their time to make over 5,000 filtered masks, which were donated to shelters, elderly centers, and hospitals. This act of selflessness and dedication showcases the program's commitment to making a positive impact, even in the most challenging of times.
Spread Warmth to Local Community
Students learned many rewarding and meaningful things by making masks by hand.
These handmade masks were donated to medical institutions and Korean senior centers.
